Here are some concept images of their house in Illinois. First, I took a photo of a house I liked and made it mirror-image. It's pretty close to what I'm envisioning, only the boys' house is older and has gingerbreading.

I tried drawing the exterior in Excel. I need to make it wider, of course, but this is the color.

 "I'm getting more muscles, like Brian!"  

The guys from my fictional story "Quartetto" bear a striking resemblance to the gentlemen of "Il Divo," the popera sensation that has taken the world by storm. However, I would not want you to be confused: they are different characters.

First of all, Brian is a few inches taller than David, much bulkier, and less confident. Also, he grew up in Illinois, not Colorado. Most importantly, he is a baritone-bass, not an amazingly high tenor.

Secondly, Johann is Austrian (or to be precise, Serafim is Romanian), not French like Sebastien. He is also a classically trained operatic singer, not a pop idol, and does not have a beauty mark on his left cheek.

The pop star in my story is Luc, the feisty Frenchman. His counterpart in real life, Urs, is a classically trained Swiss singer, who is, however, similarly and devastatingly handsome like Luc.

Last but not least, Carlos from Il Divo is a Spaniard who is adept at wooing women with only his eyes (and eyebrows), much like Cesare, but Cesare is an Italian, has been married for many years, and is a devoted father of three daughters.
